Coming soon

Intercompany Cloud — coming soon

When one company in your group invoices another, the bill should already be in the other company's books, whether it runs SAP Business One, Zoho Books, Xero or QuickBooks Online. We're building that. There is no date yet; the early-access list hears first.

What it will do

  • An invoice in one company will become the bill in the other, with the supplier, accounts and tax codes you choose once at set-up.
  • Credit notes and cancellations will follow.
  • If something is missing in the other company (a tax code, an account), it will stop and tell you exactly what to add.
  • At month end, one page will show what each company owes the others, and anything that differs.

Coming in this order

  1. Groups on Zoho Books.
  2. A head office on SAP Business One sending to companies on Xero or Zoho Books.
  3. The other direction: those companies' invoices into SAP Business One as purchase invoices (this step writes to SAP Business One and needs an extra SAP Business One user licence from your partner).
  4. QuickBooks Online.

What it won't do

Consolidation or group reporting. Keep the tool you use for that.

Setting it up

In the browser. For SAP Business One, your IT person or partner installs a small program on the server in about 20 minutes (SQL Server first, HANA later). Until step 3 it only reads the invoices between your own companies, and it opens no inbound connection. A one-page sheet for your IT team will come with it.

Currencies

Companies that bill each other in different currencies may need a higher Zoho Books or Xero plan. We'll tell you which when you connect.
