Cookie policy
Which cookies and similar tools walldorfsolutions.com uses, what each one is for, and how to change your choice. This version: 20 October 2026.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser, so that it can recognise the browser on the next page or the next visit. Some cookies are needed for the site to work; others count visits or help us follow up enquiries. We use the word "cookies" here for similar tools as well, such as small scripts that send a page view.
Your choice
When you first open the site, a banner asks you. Accept allows all three kinds below; Reject allows only the necessary ones; Choose lets you pick statistics and marketing one by one. Until you choose, only necessary cookies are used, and no statistics or marketing tool is loaded. Your choice is kept for a year.
You can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or here:
The three kinds
- Necessary — without these the shop, your sign-in and the security checks do not work, so they need no consent: WordPress and WooCommerce (sign-in and cart), the banner remembering your choice, Stripe on the payment step, Cloudflare and Turnstile (security), Google reCAPTCHA on forms, and the help button of our support desk (Zoho Desk).
- Statistics — Google Analytics counts visits and pages, so we can see what helps visitors and what does not. Jetpack (Automattic) counts page views and visits to the shop's pages for the same reason. Both run only after you agree.
- Marketing — Zoho Marketing Hub links visits to the site to an enquiry you made, so we can follow up properly; AutomateWoo remembers a cart you left so that, if you agreed to product news, we can remind you; and the site's fonts, which come from Google Fonts until we serve them ourselves. All run only after you agree.
Videos are not loaded at all until you press play; YouTube then sets its own cookies (we use its "no-cookie" address, which sets none until you play).

The site also keeps two things in your browser's storage that are not cookies: WooCommerce's copy of your cart (wc_cart_hash_…, wc_fragments_…) and reCAPTCHA's check (_grecaptcha). Zoho Marketing Hub sets no cookie on this site; with your consent it sends each page you open to Zoho.
Your browser
You can also delete cookies or block them in your browser's settings. If you block the necessary ones, the shop and your sign-in will not work.
