Intercompany feature
See the whole group, and stop risky sales before they happen
Live reports across all your companies, queries run in every company at once, and a credit limit checked against the customer's balance in the whole group.
- Five group reports
- Remote queries
- From $240 per user a year

The problem
Each company sees only itself
Stock in a sister company's warehouse is invisible to your sales team, a customer's balance is spread over three companies, and a customer that is over its limit in the group still looks fine in each company on its own.
How it works
Group data, read live
The group reports read live data from one company or all of them and open in SAP Business One, ready for Excel. Remote queries run a standard SAP Business One query in every company at once. When a sales document is added, Intercompany adds up the customer's balance in all companies and stops the document with a warning if the group's credit limit is passed.
| Company | Customer balance |
|---|---|
| Sample Group GmbH · DE | 40,000 |
| Sample Group Pte Ltd · SG | 25,000 |
| Sample Group Inc. · US | 30,000 |
| Group balance | 95,000 |
| Group credit limit | 90,000 |

Details
Everything group reports and control covers
The "In Stock", "Committed", "Ordered" and "Available" quantities of every global item, read live from each company when you refresh. The summary view gives the group total per item; the detail view goes down to each company and warehouse. Filters for company, item and, from version 57, item group.
A report of each global customer's or vendor's balance, summed for the group or listed per company, read live. A scheduled job also writes the group's account, delivery and order balances to the business partner master record.
Each company's sales analysis in one window, by customer or by item. Based on invoices, orders or delivery notes, with posting, due and document date ranges.
Receivables, payables and the net amount between the group's companies, for the current company or for all of them. The amounts come from the "Due From" and "Due To" accounts of the branch accounts setup.
Marketing documents and allocation journal vouchers that wait for the receiving company to accept them, and since version 53 return requests too. The administration cockpit shows the same backlog as two counts.
A saved Query Generator or Query Wizard query runs in this company, in all branch companies or in the ones you tick. Only users with "Can Use Remote Query Execution" see the choice.
A group credit limit on each global customer, checked when a sales order, delivery or A/R invoice is added. If the consolidated account balance plus the new document passes the limit, the document is restricted and a warning shows.
Every intercompany report exports to CSV from version 50 and copies to the clipboard. The report windows can also go to Microsoft Excel or be printed as a PDF.
