Administration and health check
The cockpit: everything on one screen
Landscape, integration, schedules, consolidation, trade and server status at a glance.
What it does
The cockpit gathers the status of the whole solution on one screen.
When you need it: A quick morning check.
How it works
- In the console choose "Cockpit" in the top menu; the data can take a moment to load.
- "Landscape Status" shows the SAP Business One and add-on versions, the deployment status, whether the scenario package is active, how many template companies and custom company templates exist, and whether key mapping is complete.
- "Integration Status" shows the IPO steps, blocked queues, a chart of today's messages, and counts of replications in process and failed. "Scheduled Processes" shows whether partner balances, allocation accounts, log purging and automatic retry are set up.
- "Financial Consolidation and Trade Processes" shows the consolidation mode, the last consolidation run and the unposted marketing documents and journal vouchers. "System Resource Information" and "Server Status" show database size, memory, processors, scheduler threads, the last start of the integration platform and whether it last stopped improperly.
- Click a tile to go further: the failed-replication tile opens today's failed messages, the auto-retry tile opens its set-up, the key-mapping tile its summary.
Set it up
Cockpit data is collected on a schedule: Preferences › Cockpit Scheduling, choose "Daily" or "Weekly" (with the weekday), the hour and the minute, and press "Schedule". "Current Status" confirms the schedule, "Last Execution" shows whether the last run worked, "Status" gives the result per company, and "Cancel" stops it.
Since: Intercompany 2.0 patch level 23 brought the cockpit. Version 53 (November 2024) renewed it and split the tiles so that each shows more exact detail.
Good to know
- The cockpit reads and points; changes are still made on the set-up and preference pages it opens.
- The resource and server tiles describe the integration framework and its platform, not the SAP Business One company databases.
- The template company and custom template tiles list which companies and templates the landscape uses.
