Version compatibility
The first step is to validate version compatibility between your SAP Business One version and the corresponding Intercompany version
When installing or upgrading the integration solution, ensure that the version/patch level is compatible with SAP Business One and that you have gone through the Overview Note (especially the section “Additional Important Notes”) of the corresponding solution version.

When migrating from the SAP Intercompany solution to the Walldorf version
Replacing SAP Intercompany solution
To migrate your existing SAP Intercompany solution to the Walldorf version, perform the following steps:

Run the Integration Solutions Installer (IntegrationSolutions.exe) in upgrade mode.
IntegrationSolutions.exe file can be located in the following location: e.g. IntegrationSolutions2023_PL47>IntegrationSolutionsInstaller
To run the installer in the upgrade mode, follow the steps mentioned in the “Upgrading the Integration Solutions Installer “section of the Intercompany Solution administration guide.

Remove the current SAP intercompany solution addon from all SAP Business One companies.
To uninstall the Add-on, follow the steps mentioned in the “Uninstalling the Integration Solutions Add-On” section of the Intercompany Solution administration guide.

Register the Walldorf integration solutions addon in the SAP B1 companies.
Addon.exe file. can be located in the following location: e.g. IntegrationSolutions2023_PL47> IntegrationSolutionsAdd-On> Integration Solutions addon 64 bit Version 47.0
To register the Add-on, follow the steps as mentioned in the “Registering the Integration Solutions Add-On” section of the Intercompany Solution administration guide.

To perform the Solution deployment, follow the steps below:
- Log on to the Intercompany Administration Console.
- In the Administration Console, in the top menu bar, choose the Setup In the left frame, choose the Landscape option.
- In the Company Registration table, choose the Deploy button
- The application prompts you to provide the license details.
In the License Details window provide the following Information:
- Email - Enter the email address on which you receive the license keys. This is the same email id that you provide during the checkout process.
- System Type – Select the system type whether it is Sandbox or Production system.
- License Key - Enter the License key received in the email. If you choose the system type as production, then provide the production key; otherwise, provide the Sandbox key.
The application validates the license information, if all entered information is correct the application displays apply license message. Otherwise, the application will show you the appropriate license error.

Allocate the intercompany solution license to the users.
To allocate the Intercompany solution license to the user, follow the steps mentioned in the "Allocating the Intercompany Solution license to User” section onn this page below.

Login to SAP Business One company and perform the Global master data update and check the replication in all companies to confirm the migration is successful.
The Intercompany menu will only be visible to users who have Intercompany solution licenses assigned.

Use the Manage License option available in the Intercompany administration console if you need to activate or deactivate the production/ sandbox licenses or need to retrieve the latest license information.

Allocating the Intercompany Solution license to User
To allocate the intercompany license to users, perform the following:
- In the Administration Console, in the top menu bar, choose the Setup In the left frame, choose the User Allocation option. User Allocation page is displayed.
- In the User Allocation page, select the SLD Category
- Select the SAP B1 Company. The application loads the SysId and Branch Code of the SAP B1 Company. Choose the Get User button to fetch the user details from SAP Business One Company. List of all available users is displayed.
- Select the checkbox next to the users to which you would like to allocate the license and After selecting the users choose the Allocate License
- The application prompts the user "This action will save the license allocation to user(s). This may take few minutes; do you want to continue?" choose Yes to continue.
- The User Allocation Result window is displayed. This window displays the status of user allocation.
- You may also check the user allocation result status by choosing the Check Status

You should always have a valid intercompany license count as SAP Business One license count, otherwise, the user list will not be displayed in the User Allocation window.
You can allocate users with intercompany licenses with the max limit of SAP Business One license in a particular company
Similarly, you may deallocate the license assigned to users by un-selecting the check box next to the users and then choosing the Allocate License button.
Managing the Intercompany Solution license
To activate/deactivate the license or retrieve the latest license information from the license server, perform the following:
The application allows you to activate the new licenses, deactivate the existing ones, or change the sandbox system to a production system using the Manage license option.
With the Manage License option, you can also immediately get the updated license information from the license server. You may require to manually refresh the license definition in case of any manual upgrade in your subscription to apply it with immediate effect. Otherwise, the system is designed to auto-update the license information periodically.
- In the Administration Console, in the top menu bar, choose the Setup In the left frame, choose the Manage License option.
- Select the SLD Category.
- In the activate section, in case you would like to replace the existing license i.e. converting the sandbox system to the production system. Then provide the new license information as Email, System Type, and new License Key on Activate section and choose Save.
- Email - Enter the email address on which you receive the license keys. This is the same email id that you provide during the checkout process.
- System Type – Select the system type whether it is Sandbox or Production system.
- License Key - Enter the License key received in the email. If you choose the system type as production, then provide the production key; otherwise, provide the Sandbox key.

- Afterward, the license gets released and solution deployment gets deactivated.
- In the Refresh License Info section, in case you would like to retrieve the latest license information from the license server. You may require to manually refresh the license definition in case of any manual upgrade in your subscription to apply it with immediate effect. Choose the Submit
In case of a system crash, you should contact the application support team to get the new license key.
To manage the license, you need Internet on the machine where you are activating/deactivating the Walldorf License. In case you have restricted access, please whitelist the URL - https://hooks.walldorfsolutions.com
