Maintenance & Support for Existing Intercompany Solution customers

You can continue using Intercompany Solution by migrating Intercompany to the Walldorf Version. Offer for existing users is valid until 31 Dec 2022. Starting 1 January 2023, new Intercompany versions will be sold from this website and product support will be provided 24/7. Enhance your customer experience. 

Q. What does the SAP/ Walldorf announcement mean to me?

A: The announcement means that you can now purchase new Intercompany licenses (maintenance and support included) or a migration package for your existing customers directly from the original makers of the Intercompany Solution. First of all, please be assured that you will not face any disruption during this migration. For the past ten years, we have been providing regular updates/ upgrades and L3 support to SAP and thousands of customers. The only change in the support process is that you can now avail 24/7 support directly from Walldorf.

All existing customers can purchase the migration package for their existing install directly from Walldorf Solutions. With the migration package, you can access online support, phone and email support, regular bug fixes and updates, all major upgrade version license, and the ability to purchase additional Intercompany licenses on your current install. Subscribe prior to December 2022 for a smooth migration.

With the Migration package, you can:

  • buy additional Intercompany Licenses for your existing install 
  • access 24/7 phone and email support directly from the makers of Intercompany Solution
  • create online tickets for your product issues and access extensive knowledge portal 
  • receive regular product bugfixes and updates
  • receive all major version upgrades for future SAP Business One versions
Q: What changes and more importantly what doesn’t?

A: The product is exactly the same. The only change in the product is the licensing mechanism. A Walldorf Intercompany customer does not get access to Integration Hub modules for free. Similarly, if you buy a single module of Integration Hub (for example, Shopify), you do not need to purchase the Intercompany Solution for all your users. We have compiled a few myth busters for you to get more details. Apart from the licensing and pricing of our product subscription and support contracts, there are no changes in the products. 

Q: How do I receive Intercompany support?

A: To receive support, you should purchase the Migration package for existing customers or New Intercompany licenses for new customers.  Once you have purchased our software, you simply start using support.walldorfsolutions.com for your support queries. You will receive 24/7 phone and email support apart from online support. Every partner will have a dedicated TAM (Technical Account Manager)

Q: What is a Dedicated Technical Account Manager?

A: You will have a ‘named’ dedicated TAM (Technical Account Manager) to assist with your technical support. You can ask your TAM to use our free onboarding service to assist your current customer’s migration to the Walldorf version. Your TAM keeps an eye on all your support tickets.

On your request, your TAM can conduct a free Technical Audit service to review all your current Intercompany installations to submit a report. The report gives you recommendations on configuration changes to optimize Intercompany, performance improvement ideas and many other important tips.

Q: What if I cancel the support contract before 31 Dec 2023; will I be able to keep using the Intercompany purchased from SAP?

A: When you purchase our Migration package, you will replace your ‘existing License’ with 'Walldorf Intercompany License'. Should you cancel the Migration package prior to the renewal or not renew for 2024, or if you wish to revert back to the version purchased from SAP, you will have to uninstall our software and reinstall the software you had received from SAP. 

The Migration contract gives the ability to receive future updates, and upgrades, access L3 engineers for 24/7 support, and ability to buy additional Intercompany License for your existing customers. 

Q: What happens to my existing Intercompany licenses after SAP stops support?

A: With our Maintenance and Support package, you can continue using Intercompany and get direct support, all updates, and future upgrade versions. With the package, you can also buy additional licenses for your current install. You purchased a perpetual license from SAP. This will run the unsupported version in perpetuity. Please contact SAP for more details. 

Q: What is the duration of your Migration package?

A: Migration contracts are annual contracts. Any existing customer buying the support contract anytime in 2022/ 2023 will be paying for the year 2023 support (1 Jan 2022 to 31 Dec 2023). All support contracts will be automatically renewed on 31 Dec 2023 unless canceled by you. 

Q: Why would I need additional licenses and how can I buy them? 

A: Intercompany License is connected to SAP Business One user license. When you purchase additional SAP licenses from SAP, you will be required to purchase the same number of Intercompany licenses from us. With our Migration package, you can purchase additional licenses for an existing customer.

Q: How is Walldorf support as good (if not better) than SAP’s?

A: With our Migration package, you get direct access to the actual L3 developers who have been supporting you for years behind the scene. The only difference is that there are no L1/ L2 in between now. We believe that having access to L3 resources directly will enhance your customer experience. 

Q: I have Q4 '22 customers in the pipeline. Can you offer any discount? 

A: Yes. To make your onboarding smooth, we are offering a 50% discount until 31 Dec 2022 on the first-year subscriptions for all your customers buying New Licenses (except Migration package for existing customers). The discount will appear in your cart.
